About Natisha
Natisha “Our Miss” Brooks is an educator, mental health advocate, and community leader committed to serving Nashville.
Originally from Gilmer, Texas, she is a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University with a degree in Chemistry. She moved to Nashville in 1989 and served 33 years as a homeschool educator, specializing in special needs students with an emphasis on autism.
She is a proud mother of two and is widely known for her community presence, compassion, and leadership. Today, she advocates for mental health services and housing for special needs citizens.
Natisha has a genuine passion for Nashville and its people. Her dedication to improving our city is truly inspiring, and I wholeheartedly support her campaign. She listens, she cares, and she acts.
